Lucia King

Lucia King is an artist, filmmaker, and founder/curator of the VisionMix network. Having lived and worked in the Netherlands, Spain and India, (born in London) she studied at Central St. Martins College of Art, and the Rijksakadmie van Beeldende Kunsten (Amsterdam).

Her projects have spanned 35mm and 16mm short films, documentaries, public art projects, video artworks produced for galleries and museums, and architecturally responsive artworks in drawing and painting. Her main collaborative (film) projects are co-productions with international performing artists and theatre directors, such as Simon Vincenzi (UK) and Adishakti (India). These works explore both philosophically and corporeally, the transformations that occur in the performer’s body reflecting the transitional states of the imaginary.
